Breeding Services

Whether purchasing a breeding service or receiving the service as part of a purchase package, it is important to select a top quality male that will enhance the attributes of your female. In addition to the outstanding young males listed in our males for sale section, we are offering the services of our two principal herdsires:
Lone Star Pacifico

This proven sire combines a beautiful fawn fleece with strong confirmation; he comes right out of the Pacific Crest breeding program with grandsires Accoyo Camillio and Accoyo Vengador.

Service Fee $1000
Maker's Mark of Reiling Ranch

If you are breeding for that very rare Maroon coloring and unmatched fineness, you need to look at Maker's Mark.  This guy shares his color and fineness with a famous handmade Kentucky bourbon.  He has an extraordinary handle to his fleece.  He is extremely soft and crimpy ... 17.6 microns with less than .8% over 30 and an SD of 3.4!!  All this on his 2nd shearing yearling fleece not his juvenile fleece!  His 2.5 year fleece is still only 18.2 microns with .9% +30 ... AMAZING!!  He has a very high frequency, tiny multi-crimp style.  He has a perfect conformation!  His award winning fleece spins into a super soft, lofty yarn.  We weren't surprised when he took a ribbon in his very first show as one of the youngest in a large dark class.  The only animal he stood behind was the one that took color champion.

Service Fee $900
Frio

This JFK son is ready to work for you.  He has the outstanding conformational traits of his sire, a nice fleece and interesting pedigree with Hemingway in the lineage through the dam's sire, our NWA Maxwell, a dark fawn AOBA National blue ribbon winner, and he has a good chance of producing colored offspring as do both sire and grandsire.

Introductory Fee $500
Lone Star Bentley

He is a 3/4 Accoyo boy, with El Moustacio as the dam's sire. He also has all the attributes you look for in a herdsire prospect:  pedigree, fleece, conformation, coverage, and head.

Available:  Fall 2007
Retired from Service :
NWA Maxwell

Our original foundation herdsire, Maxwell, was retired from service in 2003. A magnificent son of Hemingway, and a first place winner at the AOBA National Show, his positive characteristics of fleece and conformation are carried forward in our herd through his sons and daughters.
